The procedure painless and is called laminate veneers. It is more aesthetically accurate and up to 40% more cost effective than porcelain veneers. Visiting Dr Sih

In spite of a life time of fillings, flossing, tooth brushings, tooth pickings, root-canals, caps, extractions, gum ministrations, veneers, etc. I reached, at the age of sixty-seven, an almost insurmountable dental speed-hump.

Brian Lambert before an after dental implants

My face and all that pertains, such as smile, speech and facial contours, had deteriorated into almost farce. I had shortened teeth, both capped and uncapped, irregular gaps, unsightly fillings, chronic abscesses, and painful eating.

My condition was the result of modern dentistry practicing not only pain relief, but also treatments based on a patient's ability to pay.
Give the patient what he can afford, not what is essential for extended dental competency. It is vitally essential to maintain full dental integrity from the very start through to old age. You would think that when you walk into a dental surgery you will receive that concept. Not true! You normally only receive a patchwork deal that is a compromise between you immediate pain, the dentist's personal skill and the depth of your pocket.

This is a tacit agreement to proceed with immediate treatment without due regard to the ongoing subtle overall deterioration of your teeth. No thought is given to the future as regards losing dental competency as the years go by. This has been described amongst the profession as "supervised neglect".

The essence is to keep drilling, patching, capping, extracting, cleaning, root-canalling to a price, whilst the proper structural integrity of your teeth is gradually, without your notice, lost. How and why have you lost your young and healthy dentate, why are you now wondering at the state of your teeth, and how do you get back your young dental profile, when your teeth mostly probably did look like a film-star's.
I want to convince you that your teeth need the Essential Dental Program which most dentists cannot at the moment offer, but Dr. Andrew Sih has the philosophy and skills to deliver.

The Procedure

This Essential Dental Program will recreate your teeth to as close as practical to the pattern of dental perfection:
Firstly, what is left in your mouth after decades of supervised neglect is prepared to a condition of balance, where all abscesses and decayed teeth are removed, faulty root-canals replaced, all fillings corrected, and all gums reconditioned.
Then, and only then, is a complete facsimile of dental perfection, in-situ, overlaid the initial preparation. This pattern is created by hand in plastic, as if the dentist was a tiny sculptor in your mouth carving by the skill of his hand and eye your new teeth.
Only by means of this plastic copy can a recreation of film-star teeth be fashioned in your mouth.

The plastic facsimile is gradually replaced with proper materials, such as porcelain. There may be the need to fasten the porcelain facsimile to implants or bridges if original teeth are missing.

Now

A mouth full of porcelain dental prosthesis, you say! Yes, but I prefer this at my age to my earlier shocking dental appearance, painful chewing, galloping deterioration, and having to end up with the unpleasant alternative: dentures.

I now have a mouth full of natural looking film-star teeth, a full smile, the ability to eat properly, and no future deterioration. Thanks to Dr. Sih.
Regards,
Brian Lambert
