Preserve the tooth

In the case of a tooth that has been knocked out wholly and completely you need preserve the tooth as best as possible and appoint with us immediately. Preserve the tooth by replacing it in the open gum socket (only if safe and if the tooth is whole), keep the tooth moist under your tounge or in a glass of milk.

Take Care

Take particular care not to touch the root of the tooth. Many missing tooth emergencies are tramaitic however all care must be taken to best care for the missing tooth.

Replacing or restoring the missing tooth

If treated shortly after the incident that created the missing tooth we can usually restore the existing tooth to its original condition. In instances where this is not possible an alternative would be dental implants.
