Our Featured Services - Laminate Veneers and Emergency Dental
Modern dental techniques now allow our patients to straighten and whiten teeth in hours. The painless procedure is named laminate veneers. It is more aesthetically accurate and up to 40% more cost effective than porcelain veneers. Laminate veneers are stronger and more controlled allowing the dentist to sculpt and color and tone the teeth.

Emergency dental
Our emergency dentist is ready to act immediately 24 hours and 7 days a week for emergency patients.

Dental Implant

Dental implants are an artificial prosthesis used for many dental symptoms including missing teeth.

Cosmetic Dentistry

Our cosmetic dentist is available for teeth whitening, crowns, inlays, veneers, implants and a variety of cosmetic procedures.

Restorative Dental

Restore your teeth to their former shine with our restorative dentist. We do root canal, tooth coloured fillings, broken teeth restorations, dentures, bridges, bonding and more.

Sydney Dentist
Our dentists are led by Sydney dentist Dr Andrew Sih. Our dentists have more than 60 years of combined dental experience with all trained in the most modern dental procedures.

General Dentistry
Although we specialise in modern cosmetic and restorative dentistry we still see patients in Sydney for many of our daily appointments. We see people with general dental needs including teeth cleaning and check ups. We actively seek the best results for families, adults, children and seniors.

Abcsess tooth or gum emergencies

An emergency abscess of the tooth can originate from one or a combination of more varied dental issues such as long term tooth decay, teeth that are broken or cracked and advance periodontal disease, all of which may lead to a tooth ache emergency and may require the services of an emergency dentist.

When the problem occurs

Although the word 'emergency' often brings to front of mind an action that is fast and sudden, in the case of a dental emergency,  it is actually a long term neglect of untreated dental problems that usually results in an abscess tooth emergency. It is therefore only the last and often painful "rupture" in the abscess process that generates the actual emergency.

Regular dental visits

Periodical visits to your dentist can prevent, detect and take care of such dental problems before an emergency need arises. If for whatever reason you have not been fortunate enough to track such damage with your dentist in the past it is always a good idea to book a consultation with Dentist Bondi Sydney's Principal Dentist, Dr. Andrew Sih, and ensure that you have no emergency surprises.

Pain is the most common precursor for any emergency visit, however there are more dangers that could be apparent beyond the aspect of pain when dealing with an abscess.  Abscess of the tooth can go as far as to perforate the surrounding bone and lead to leaking into the surrounding tissue resulting in swelling. Lymphatic glands may provide a clue as to whether this is happening in your situation as your neck may become swollen as a result of an infection.

At Dentist Bondi's Bondi Beach Dental Surgery we identify three different types of abscess tooth emergencies being :

Gingival and Periodontal Abscess Emergency
Periapical Abscess Emergency
Previous Poorly Treated Abscess Emergencies
